Every year, from the end of march till may, the Bollenstreek is the most beautiful flower-bulb region of the world. During this period you will see large fields of the world-famous Dutch Flowers. The main event during this period is the annual 'Bloemencorso', a parade on a Saturday when colourful floats and luxury vehicles are decorated in masses of flowers and travel a 42 km route, all made by local volunteers. In addition to this main event, you can visit the Keukenhof, The Tulip Barn and the Tulip Experience Amsterdam.
